And He said to them, "Come away by yourselves to a secluded place and rest a while." (For there were many people coming and going, and they did not even have time to eat.) --Mark 6:31
Could you use a day of encouragement?
You may absolutely love where you are right now. Or you may be living under overwhelming stress. Do you live in a fishbowl? Are you free to fully be yourself? Do you have a career you love? You may be very lonely. Or you may have lots of supportive friendships. You might be barely hanging on. Conflict in the church may be tearing you down. Or you may be enjoying a phase of growth and expansion. How are the kids? This ministry life may be new, or you may be a veteran with much wisdom to share. You may just want to enjoy a day away with others who truly understand what your life is like.
No matter what life holds right now, Psalm One Ministries invites you to join us Saturday, March 28 for a Pastors' Wives Gathering in Sycamore, Illinois. Come join us for a relaxing and renewing day of fun, encouragement, input, support, laughter, celebrating! This is a one day soul care retreat for YOU—not your church, not your husband, not your kids. We will have some life-giving time with the Lord as well as a chance to share what life is bringing you right now.
We'll meet from 10 to 4 in a beautiful home with lots of special touches just for you. This is a very casual, "non-churchy" day with some fabulous, real women--no "Stepford Wives" allowed. Lunch and breakfast goodies will be provided. Just bring your Bible and yourself.
Take a break from the day-to-day and be renewed. It's the kind of thing we think we can't afford to do, but in reality, we can't afford not to! This is open to all women whose husbands are in full-time ministry, so feel free to invite a fellow PW. RSVP by March 16 to reserve your spot. Questions? Call Linda Kline at 513-339-1342.
When is the last time someone planned a day just to encourage you? Come and receive some refreshing!
Blessings, Linda |
