Who Is Psalm One?

"And when I came to you, brethren, I did not come with superiority of speech or of wisdom, proclaiming to you the testimony of God. For I determined to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ, and Him crucified. And I was with you in weakness and in fear and in much trembling.  And my message and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power,  that your faith should not rest on the wisdom of men, but on the power of God."  (1 Corinthians 2:1-5)

Linda Kline is Director of Psalm One Ministries.  Linda, a native of Louisville, Kentucky, is a former staff member of Campus Crusade for Christ and a graduate of Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois.  She has a wide variety of ministry experience including teaching, speaking, missions, counseling, evangelism and discipleship in many different settings.

Linda teaches, trains, counsels, and consults both onsite and off-site, around the U.S. and around the world. She also has a ministry to pastors’ wives which includes restoring the soul, reconnecting with God and resourcing.  Her goal is to see people rooted in Christ, growing in His Word and celebrating His grace--to see spiritual formation happen in our lives as we are transformed into the image of the Lord.

Using her training in theology, psychology, evangelism, spiritual development and discipleship, Linda ministers in such a way that the head and heart find healing, encouragement and growth in Christ so believers can minister to others in the freedom,  strength and joy of the Lord.

Linda is ably supported through a board of directors, ministry advisors, prayer team and faithful volunteers.

 Why Psalm One?

“...his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night. And he will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in its season…” Psalm 1:2-3

Psalm 1:1-3 speaks of making a choice to delight in truth of God rather than the faulty philosophy and foolish ways of the world.  If we will read, study and mediate upon the Word of God, He will send a river of strength, resilience and nourishment to us.  At times we may feel that we are  in the desert rather than by a stream, but the word “stream” in this verse is actually an irrigation canal—dug purposely to bring fresh water to the one who is parched and thirsty.  Our goal in everything we do in Psalm One Ministries is to send our roots deep into the living water of Christ.
