BAPTISMAL POOL AND WATERFALL DEVOTED TO THE LORD

For those in the Northern Cincinnati/Warren County/Butler County areas of Ohio, I would like to invite your church to enjoy a unique opportunity for baptism in a peaceful outdoor setting.

In 1998, a friend gave me a book that caused me to investigate the veracity of the Bible and the claims of Christ.  I had been attending church for several years, but did not fully understand what it meant to be a Christian.  After reading and studying on my own, I came to the conclusion that God is real and the Bible is His inspired Word---and that I needed Jesus as my Savior and Lord.  I found forgiveness through Christ, committed my life to Him, and began the greatest adventure of my life.

In the months following, as part of my new perspective, I looked at all the blessings God had entrusted to me and I prayed for guidance as to how they could be used for His glory.  Earlier that summer I had started a water feature consisting of a pool and waterfall.  As I prayed, God gave me the vision to turn this water feature into a baptism pool to be used by area churches.  The answer to prayer was further confirmed when all of the rock needed to build such a structure was found right here on the property. 

I wanted this to be a place where people could celebrate the joyous sacrament of baptism in a casual, beautiful outdoor setting among friends and family.  Before the pool was even finished, three churches performed baptisms, mine included! 

Amid gardens with a scenic view, this baptismal pool provides safe entry into clean water in a beautiful outdoor setting.  From all around the sloping sides of the pool, the entire congregation is able to easily observe the participants and share in the baptism service.

Participants may also wish have a celebration meal afterwards. There is a shelter with picnic table seating for 120.  Bring your own chairs and you could seat more.  We have separate bathrooms, two changing rooms and a kitchenette available to make everything comfortable and convenient for everyone involved.

The tranquil setting in Oregonia is close to Lebanon and the 71 Interstate, but seems a world away.  The land and the baptistery are so conducive to an atmosphere of peace, worship and fellowship.

I invite your church to use this baptism pool.  The baptistery is available on Sundays from June through September.  There is no set charge, however, a love offering to Psalm One Ministries would be appreciated should the Lord move your heart to do so.
