What We Believe

Who We Are

Our Pastoral Director is Linda Kline, a native of Louisville, Kentucky, former campus staff member of Cru, and a graduate of Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois.

Using her training in theology, psychology, evangelism, spiritual development, and discipleship, Linda teaches, preaches, trains, counsels, consults and leads retreats both on-site and off-site, around the U.S and around the world. Her goal is encouraging people to follow hard after God with our head, heart and hands. Every aspect of Psalm One is designed to equip believers to walk with God in greater joy, intimacy and obedience.

We believe the Bible is inspired by God and is the authoritative guide for faith and conduct. We believe that it was uniquely, verbally and fully inspired by the Holy Spirit and was written without error in the original manuscripts. It is the supreme and final authority on which it speaks.

We believe in one God eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit—each of whom possesses equally all the attributes of Deity.

We believe in God the Father, Creator and Sustainer of all things.

We believe in Jesus Christ, the Eternal Son. We believe He is the only way to salvation. We believe in his deity and humanity, his sinless life, and his miracles; his atoning death and his bodily resurrection provide the only ground for justification, forgiveness, and salvation.

We believe in the Holy Spirit as a divine person who draws people to Christ, dwells within them, and enables them to live godly lives. We trust in the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit in convicting, empowering, comforting, and guiding believers.

We believe that all human beings have sinned and stand in need of salvation through Jesus Christ.

We believe every individual is made in the image of God and is of invaluable worth of based entirely on God's love and grace.
