Psalm One Ministries
Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth. (2 Timothy 2:15)
“What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us.”
Thus begins A.W. Tozer’s Knowledge of the Holy, a classic work on the character and truth of God. Tozer illuminates God’s attributes—from wisdom, to grace, to mercy—and in doing so, attempts to restore the majesty and wonder of God in the hearts and minds of all Christians. A modern classic of Christian testimony and devotion, The Knowledge of the Holy shows us how we can rejuvenate our prayer life, meditate more reverently, understand God more deeply, and experience God’s presence in our daily lives. In this study we will explore what Scripture reveals about God and consider the vast difference between knowing God and just knowing about God.
“How completely satisfying to turn from our limitations to a God who has none.” AW Tozer
This study is for men and women, married and single, lay and clergy, any age, any church…anyone who is eager to “to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth.” (2 Tim 2:15) We meet in Oregonia on Tuesdays at 6:30 for a potluck dinner, followed by the study. Become a part of a very fun and encouraging family of friends who are all eager to walk with God. We do a lot of digging and studying and laughing and eating and learning. You are always welcome whether you can come every week or once in a while.
