Soul Care for Leaders

And He said to them, "Come away by yourselves to a secluded place and rest a while." (For there were many people coming and going, and they did not even have time to eat.) They went away in the boat to a secluded place by themselves. Mark 6:31-32

Does your church staff or ministry team need to pull away and receive renewed strength and vision?  Would they be encouraged by a time of enjoying the Lord and digging deeper into intimacy with Him without having to tackle the nuts and bolts of ministry?  Could you use a Day of Soul Care to clear out all the fears and anger and confusion and apathy and dullness that can set in if we don't pay attention to the state of our own souls as we see to the souls of others?

One of my greatest joys is leading a time of Soul Care for Ministry Leaders. Ministry is the most difficult, fun, frustrating, rewarding, exhausting, wonderful job on earth!  My goal is that as men and women sold out to the Lord, we would develop the internal spiritual formation and receive the support and direction we need to remain healthy and efficient in ministry for the rest of our lives.  And that we would minister as a child of God, resting in the Lord, instead of as a "ministry machine".

We can custom design a retreat to give you and your team a shot of life-giving encouragement as we seek God in the midst of the hard and rewarding work of ministry. We'll consider how to consistently integrate healthy, holy rhythms into our life so we can live in Him freely and lightly. Do the men and women you work with need a day away?  A weekend?  This is the kind of break we think we cannot afford to take, but in reality, we can't afford not to!
